A clay wall is built around the dam, since building a rectangular box around the wing with masonite would result in wasting a LOT of silicone...

Here the wing is ready for pouring the first half of the mold around it.

After the rubber cures, the clay wall and dam are removed, and the second half is prepared for pouring.
